Knowledge of God was initially given through Abraham, Joseph of Egypt, King David, the prophet Ezekiel and others. The actions of these men in the Old Testament taught followers obedience to their Creator. Next, man was given personal access to God through the New Covenant integrating redemption through Jesus Christ and the urging of the Holy Spirit. Now comes the final revelation, pressing forward the Kingdom Age that will operate with Righteous Fire, awesomely consuming sin and empowering Believers.
God Corrects His Church
Churches in America, today, too often resemble elite airport lounges that cater to the comfort and prestige of their members, while they await departure. Such churches operate more like clubs interested in pacifying it members, than preparing an army to overcome evil and rescue the lost.
The first challenge is to repentance, not unlike that of John the Baptist's call, "Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand." Let us be honest to God and admit our short comings - the first step is doing better.
Repeating Ancient Paradigm
Currently, there is a threat upon the integrity of the church and our nation affecting the well-being of future generations. It is a pattern that has been in the earth since ancient times - the battle between good and evil.
The spiritual characters of Ahab, the poor victim of circumstance, and Jezebel, the seducing controller, prevail in our modern times. They easily recognizable in multi-dimensions of our society including church, government, education, news and entertainment. Lo, Baal has again established in the minds of men desires to "have things as I want them," while the idea "the good of all" is hacked from our conscience. Thus, the new age is the old age of idol worship again.
Fulfilling the Promises
The Spirit of Elijah is rising! Whereby, Believers may become ministers of Righteous Fire to defeat the ancient paradigm that attacks the Church and our nation.
"But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come (now) He might show the exceeding riches of His grace His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:4-7)."
There is good news indeed for now is the time for the actualization of the strength of righteousness written in Romans 5:20."...where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness..."
- The Kingdom of God is indeed at hand! So, let us not hide behind walls of a church building, or live in a cave and curse the darkness. Let us boldly challenge sin!
- Grace is the overcoming power - a gift from God that pours out limitlessly in this time unto the righteous.
- Who are these empowered righteous? Sons of God who find their place in the field. (Cloud of Witnesses: Smith Wigglesworth, John G. Lake, Kathryn Kuhlman, Lester Sumrall...)
